What’s an outlier score?
Every channel has a baseline — the average views their videos pull in a given window. An outlier is a video that breaks that baseline by a meaningful multiple. Skewdar calculates the outlier score by comparing a video’s view count against the channel’s recent median, normalised for how long the video has been live.
